Dear community,

I had one question if you guys didn't mind.

When I press 'left mouse click' and hold the 'ctrl' key, I can grab whatever specific text I want in Microsoft Word.

I was just wondering how can I set this up so I can do the same thing but with 'ctrl + F12' in Word?

Thank you very much
Sonam

    Hi @Lotus Born

First, I do not think there is a shortcut key that is designated for this type of command. However, if you are looking to select all with CTRL+F12 you can set it with customize keyboard shortcuts:

    Hi, @Lotus Born

We tried to record a macro and assign ctrl+F12 to it, but it didn't work. This short cut is by design and cannot be customized.

As far as I know, you can only use the mouse and the Ctrl key to make multiple, non-continuous selections in Word.

Multiple selections are not supported in VBA, either.

Thank you for all the assistance.

I see that Ctrl + F12 is not possible, but it is possible to use another key like this guy in Microsoft Word ( \ ) , so like 'Ctrl + \' so I can grab whatever specific text I want in Microsoft Word.
