How to Send Azure VM Diagnostic Logs to an Event Hub

I have enabled Diagnostic logging for an Azure VM shown below:

Afterwards, I configured the necessary logs that I want to capture:

I then would like to send those logs to an Event Hub. However, looking at the other tabs like Sink, doesn't provide an option to do so.

As the title mentioned. Is there a way to send the Diagnostic logs from my Azure VM to an Event Hub of my choosing?

Are those JSONs called ARM templates?

What is the difference between the Public and Private configurations?

hi Rafael,

I am searching and looking on the internet to get more information than the link above that you shared. The link contains the json configuration files but I am trying to understand the context.

It is probably my inexperience but I would like to know where the json file needs to reside and if there is any service inside the virtual machine that needs to run to send the OS event logs to the Event Hub.

The article only says that how the json is supposed to be formatted, but it never says what I need to do with the json if I want to send OS event logs to the Event Hub. Is the json something that you setup in the portal or inside the virtual machine.

Everyone only points to the link but with no additional explanation. Can you please help?
