Contributor unable to see resources

Question

I have added a contributor at subscription level (and also provided contributor level access to virtual machines and other resources available). The contributor however is unable to see the resources when signing in to azure portal. They are not visible.

I have tried going through the various steps outlined in the documentation but could not make it work. Due to this, I have to share my admin account with my developer which I would like to avoid.

Please guide.

Once you login to Azure portal make sure you are looking at the directory to which the subscription is linked to.
You can follow below steps,

• Login to Azure portal.
• Click on Directories + Subscriptions option on top right corner.

• Select the directory to which the subscription is linked to.
• Now try to access the resources
