Application Insights showing in Live metrics, but not in log analytics

I have an Application Insights resource connected to a Log Analytics Workspace which suddenly stopped showing logs a couple of weeks ago - last logs I can browse is from the 15th September.

I can see the events in the Live metrics blade, but querying on app insights or log analytics shows no logs at all. I have the same setup in 3 environments, and just the one stopped capturing logs.

All the setups look the same across the environments, except different regions (North Europe, South Africa North). Have checked all the config and code and everything is the same across environments. My app services report they are connected to the correct Application Insights instance (manually configured using instrumentation key/connection string in Application settings).

Not seeing server or browser events in failures, performance etc.

I'm using .net6.0 on the app services linux host and the javascript sdk on the client applications

Any thoughts on what could be the issue? What can I check next, wits end on why it suddenly stopped working

    Hi there,

Just in case, Metrics and Logs are stored in different data platforms (Metrics Storage and Log Analytics respectively). Live Metrics are not stored anywhere except the live session.
Did you check if you Application Insights has a linked workspace in Overview page?
