Free azure subscription expired - Which type of subscription to choose

Hello

I have a question regarding my azure subscription.

It is about to expire because it is a 30-day subscription, so what happens when the subscription expires? Can I continue using only the free Azure services for one year, without being charged anything?

But if I want to use other services, it indicates that I pay only for what I am using.

As the subscription is about to expire the trial period tells me that I must update my subscription

When trying to update my subscription the following options appear.

In my case it would be for test and learning environments, but this basic subscription, how would the payment of resources be? Only for what you use? and I have free azure services for a year?

Or what is the difference with the standard subscription, at the payment level it indicates $100 per month. I only pay This $100 amount no matter what azure resources I use.

Please if you can help me clear these doubts.

Thank you

    Hi @lra ,

the second screenshot you posted is about the Azure Support Plan options.
It's not about different types of the Azure Subscription. The options Developer, Standard, Professional Direct and Basic are different plans for support of the Azure Subscription you choose.

Thanks for posting your query on Microsoft Q&A.

For query on Free Trial Subscription expiring
Azure Subscription does not cost anything. It is the services/products or resources that you use as part of the Subscription.
Free Trial Subscription has limitations like it lets you try Azure services for 30 days with available credits of $200. In addition, you get free monthly amounts of two groups of services: popular services, which are free for 12 months, and more than 40 other services that are free always.

    See full offer terms

Within 30 days of sign-up for Free Trial Subscription or upon exhaustion of the credits (whichever occurs first), you must upgrade to a pay-as-you-go subscription by removing the spending limit. This allows continued use of the Azure free account and select free services for the term.

For questions about the four options of Support plans. Which one to select?
The four options that you are seeing are about the Support plans you would like to choose for your Subscription. If you are using the Azure Subscription for learning and test environments, my recommendation for Support plan would be to either choose the Developer support or the Basic one.
With the Developer support, you can create support tickets via Azure portal in case you need any technical support. Support engineers will work with you on your support request to get to the issue resolution.
With the Basic plan, you can only create support requests for billing or subscription management support questions. Basic plan does not cover technical help related questions to the support team.

    Hello,

ok ok the types of support, but at the level of expenses in resources, which one should I select, in this case the standard?
