How to debug Service Fabric local cluster with VIsual Studio 2022?

Back in May I opened a github issue related to inability to debug my local cluster with .NET 6 and VS 2022: https://github.com/microsoft/service-fabric/issues/1356
My team has been unable to debug against our local service fabric cluster since we moved to .NET 6 (back in May 2022).
We recently noticed that this is now simply considered "not supported", according to Microsoft documentation on debugging: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/service-fabric/service-fabric-debugging-your-application

Can we get an update? Is anyone working on this issue? Has this simply been abandoned? Is there a recommended path for those of us with this need?

This has had major impacts to multiple projects, and was about to become a huge issue for a new project I am joining. Can we at least get an official update to the github issue as opposed to simply ignoring it?

    @Will Comeaux

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Platform, thanks for posting your query here.

    I do understand the inconvenience and trouble you are going through "Remote debugging is not supported on VS 2022" as stated in the official document.

    However, I would request you to share your feedback here and link the GitHub Issue (#1356) you reported. This way the user voice will be reviewed by the product team and prioritized.

    Hope that helps.
