Can not get computer to connect to the network via GPO

So we have a lot of computers that we connect to our wireless network via GPO, they almost always work. For some reason we have one that just will not connect. We have tried flushing the DNS, we've tried renaming, remove and adding it back into the domain (under multiple names), we've tried gpupdate /force AND gpupdate /sync but to no avail. We've even tried reimaging and nothing seems to work. The latest thing that we tried was taking the SSD from a known working computer with identitcal hardware and replacing them with each other, when we did that, the issue duplicated itself and now we can't get either of the computers to connect, even after we switched the SSDs back.

We're at a loss here, we've tried everything that we can think of, but at this point we're just beating our heads against a wall. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello.

Thank you so much for posting here.

According to our description, we configured the wireless network policy and it was applied to almost all computers. But there is one computer that just will not connect to the network. That is to say, this computer did not apply this policy.

Does this computer is within the OU which is linked with the GPO? To check whether this computer applied this policy or not, we could log on the computer and run the CMD as administrator and then enter gpresult /h C:\report.html to get the group policy report.

For more information, we could refer to:

For any question, please feel free to contact us.

    Best regards,
    Hannah Xiong

    Hello,

Thank you so much for your kindly reply.

As mentioned before, we could kindly have a check whether we have old GPO configuration for wireless Network on this computer.

Besides, it is suggested that we could enable GPSVC debug logging to further troubleshoot.

1.On problematic machine, create the “usermode” folder under “%windir%\debug\” directory.
    2.Create the following registry keys:

    Under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion

    Create a new Key “Diagnostics” there;

3.Then create a new value “GPSvcDebugLevel” under the key “Diagnostics”:

    Entry: GPSvcDebugLevel
    Type: REG_DWORD
    Value data: 30002 (Hexadecimal)

At this point, use the GPSVC analysis blog to get further:
    https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/askds/2015/04/17/a-treatise-on-group-policy-troubleshootingnow-with-gpsvc-log-analysis/

Please note: Due to forum rules and security considerations, we do not analyze logs here.

    Best regards,
