Managed Identity and Azure Container Instances - Stopped working

Using MI to pull images from ACR now fails with:
'xxx' in container group 'xxx' is not accessible. Please check the image and registry credential. (Code:InaccessibleImage)
This looks like an back-end error. Can anyone confirm? All role assignents exist and this was working yesterday.
