Assess current environment in M365 & Azure

Hi All,

Need some advice on below please

We are in the process of vendor acquisition project, as part of it we wanted to check the current environment performance in terms of hardware, migration combability, security posture, best recommendation is improve the configuration for M365 and Azure environment

Just need an advice apart MAP tool, is there any other free or paid which could be useful for us to capture some import data before we take over. Please suggest

    Hi Karthik,

    You are correct at this moment MAP tool is the only free Microsoft Supported tool for discovery and assessment, however you can also try out follow tools such as Azure Migrate and Defender for cloud for asset and Security posture assessment of the environment.

    Azure Migrate
    Azure MAP Tool
    Azure Defender for Cloud
    Or else you can try out third party tool available from Marketplace as well.
