Outlook Web App Quick Steps

Hello,

I'm the administrator of an account that has 5 office 365 business licenses.
While configuring all accounts outlook web app environment, I found out that only one user had access to a feature called Quick Steps.
I checked all tools and settings to see if there was any checkbox that was not checked on the others' accounts and, to my disbelief, I couldn't find any mention of Quick Steps on the OWA environment of these accounts.

How do I turn on this feature on every account?

Welcome to our forum!

Based on my test, i found that the "Quick steps" option will only appear when logging in to the @microsoft.com account on OWA, but not for other accounts (such as @harsh.com .com accounts, other Exchange online accounts, etc.). And for @microsoft.com account on OWA, the display interface of OWA is also different. So, for now, I'm afraid this option is still not available on OWA where other accounts log in and it seems that there's no way to enable it.

Thanks for the reply.
The thing is all accounts use our specific domain, in this case @mycompanyname.pt

In fact, the user that has the access to the quicksteps feature, logs in with his account username@mycompanyname.pt, and never with a microsoft or outlook domain.
So, what i find hard to understand is, why does this one user has access to the this feature and I don't when the only difference between his account and mine, for example, is the username?
I already tested if it was something with the browser version, and it's not... i don't know what else to test and this is a very helpful feature to have.

Do you mean that the user is in your organization and has the same domain as yours, right?

It's suggested that you could log in to Outlook web app in his computer to check if there're any differences.

Yes, it is the same.

There is no difference i can detect... i've pratically tried every possible thing, read lots of Q&A and still can't find any logical answer. There must be an option/setting to activate quick steps on OWA. Please let me know when you have an answer.

No, when I log in with my account in the user's computer (with no problem), i still have the same options (no quick steps available).
When I log in with the user's account (with no problem) in my computer or any other, I can still access quick steps. I already tried switching browsers (chrome, edge, firefox, safari) and still nothing...

Based on testing of my tenant during this time, some accounts of the same domain also have this option after logging in to OWA, but not all accounts have it, so I think this is a new update that is gradually being pushed to OWA. For now, it is recommended that you could wait to check for further changes.

this is very unfortunate that you cannot set up a web outlook with quick steps to send an email to a group. You could in the old outlook. Can you please find a way to do this, we have workflows developed to help with efficiencies.
