MIMWAL Fails after installation

I've set up a new MIM-server with portal and sync engine with backed up data from current production that runs Windows Server 2012 I've been getting an error whenever I try to create or view a workflow with MIMWAL activities. I've recompiled a new MIMWAL using files from the new server and installation media and then ran both the Register.ps1 and UpdateWorkflow.ps1 scripts without errors.

After running the scripts and checking all assemblys and activities in MIM everything looks fine but all of my workflows are "empty" and whenever I try to create a new one it just gives me the default error screen. If I go to advanced view I can see that the XOML contains all the data but nothing is showing visually in the normal view.

Running portal and sync on a Windows Server 2022 Datacenter OS and that's the only thing I could possibly think is still messing with this installation.
