RE: Outlook 16.66.2 on Mac 12.6

Reviewing other older threads, it seems this was an issue, it was resolved, and now it is an issue again.

I used to be able to drag selected mail to folders in other email accounts set up in Outlook.

I am not able to now. I am not able to right click to move, as the available list to move the email to is only in the same account.

I need to be able to move work emails to personal mail account folders.

also note, personal accounts cannot move mail to personal accounts.

Please advise.

    Hi @Susan Moulton

I would use the report an issue feature in Outlook for Mac:

Report an issue about Outlook for Mac

    Hi @Susan Moulton

Based on my tests, by dragging the selected messages, this copies the messages to another account's folder.

Right-click the selected messages and select Move, if you don’t find the folder you want to move your message to in the list that appears, select Choose Folder, and then type the first few letters of the folder name you’re looking for.
Click the folder name and click the Move button.
Please let us know if there has such update when you tried these steps.

I cannot use the Move function to move a message (to my gmail account) to a folder that I can see with Outlook. It only sees the folders that are attached to the gmail account, i.e. those that are stored by google. The folders on my hard drive do not come up with I type their names in.
