I'm trying to contact windows server support with no luck, they asked me for Subscription ID and I have original license but I don't have that subscription.

First I need valid way to contact commercial support.

I'm trying to set windows server 2016 to Static IP but the server become offline, no internet access neither local reach. windows troubleshooting tool suggest to change mode to DHCP, and it works only on dhcp.

this problem occurred when I enabled NIC Teaming on the server.

I tried to set free IP from LAN, try to ping, scan, review. totally free IP but the same issue.

The root cause I guess from windows server, how do I solve this problem?

What the adapter needs to configure for static IP address in this case? cause I have NIC1 and NIC2,
on the other hand, I've typed the right default gateway IP address.

    Hi,

Thank you for posting in Q&A!

In regards to your issue, I've done test in my own environment.

I've configured two external NICs in my server and established NIC teaming.
When I use DHCP to get my server's IP, it can access the Internet successfully. When I set a static IP as the DHCP dynamic IP( IP Address, subnet mask, default gateway), it can access the Internet successfully.

However, when I miss the default gateway, it fails to access the Internet.
So you can use "ipconfig /all" to check your static IP configuration to see if it is exactly like the dynamic IP.

First I'd check here and with manufacturer about support for Server 2016
    https://www.windowsservercatalog.com/

also check manufacturer's site for the latest ROM bios, firmware, chipset and driver support packs. Something here may also help.
    https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000022706/network-and-i-o/ethernet-products.html

as to contacting microsoft you can start a case here with product support.

If it works properly with DHCP but not with a static IP address, it sounds like you have not configured your static IP correctly. If you do not have internet connectivity, it is often because the IP address you assigned does not have access to a valid router to route to the internet.

First step would be to contact your network administrator to see that you are properly configuring your static IP for the network.

For us to provide any assistance, it would be helpful for you to provide the text output from a ipconfig /all command for both the working DHCP configuration and the non-working static configuration.

    Hi,
I tried several solutions and they didn't work, some time later I noticed that the antivirus that I uninstalled left behind some settings in the registry, I couldn't remove them, so I installed the antivirus again and the default gateway on the NIC was fixed.

In my case the antivirus component that was causing the problem was something like "Net Filter"
If all the solutions like this one from the link below don't work, In short, take a look at your antivirus
