Can I update my app on the Microsoft Store by creating another listing (e.g., MyApp 3 and MyApp 4)?

We have an app ("MyApp 3") that is currently listed on the Microsoft Store. We are getting ready to release a new version of our app ("MyApp 4") and want to list that on the store as well, but want the old app to continue being accessible to our users (eventually we will remove it). It's necessary to release it this way because the new app uses a new server, etc.. Is this allowed under Microsoft's app store rules or will the new app listing get rejected?

    Hello,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!

Is this allowed under Microsoft's app store rules or will the new app listing get rejected?

If I understand you correctly, you want to keep two versions of your app in the Microsoft Store at the same time, right? Currently, this is not supported for normal apps. You will need to create a new app for ("MyApp 4") and go through the publish process again to publish it.

    Thank you.
