Hi,
Sorry if this don't belong here, but I don't know where else put it, as nobody in Microsoft support has been able to help me.
I was using my work email access two organizations at https://dev.azure.com/xxxxxx, until at my place they bought Office 365 licenses and they add me with the same email. Since then, I can't access any of the older organizations, because I don't have access (401 - Uh-oh, you do not have access). The admin of one of the organizations has delete me and then add me again and the problem persist. I suspect I have "two" accounts and somehow they are not talking with each other. I have tried many things without any success (also deleting me at the Office account didn't work).
What can be done? any ideas?
Thanks!

Most probably after moving to Office 365- your email is now recognized as Azure AD account & you are authorised by AAD in Your organization. To solve issue- firstly admin of old organization should invite You as guest to "old" organization AAD. Please also follow this link:

    I hope this will help

Hello @Álvaro Paredes and thanks for reaching out. If you cannot access your old Azure Devops org then your work account may have been removed from the Azure AD tenant or from the Azure DevOps org. If the former, then you can Add external users to your organization. If the latter, you can Add users to your organization. If you don't have enough rights, please reach your Azure AD or Azure DevOps admin.

Just faced the same issue and it is now resolved. It's not really a fix, it was more about understanding what the situation is.

The previous account you used, with the same email, was most likely a Personal Account. The new one may be linked to a org (work or school account).

Here are the steps that were taken:

    1. Open up the dev.azure page that you had access to previously and sign in to your acount on portal.azure.com
    2. Once you're logged in and on the homepage, select the org name/profile picture on the top right of your screen and sign in with a different accountUser's image
    3. Sign in to your account and it should show a popup saying that there are 2 accounts with the email address.
    4. Select the personal account and you should be able to access it

This isn't the best solution, but it did work.
