Hi, I'm trying improve my and my colleagues local environment development experience. We're developing applications for Azure, and for now we're using only 3 local emulators: Azurite emulator Cosmos DB Emulator Azure SQL Database emulator I cannot find any list with available emulators, that's why my question is: are there any other available emulators we can use instead of using deployed Azure resources? Like instead of Storage Account, we're using Azurite. Anything you've in mind will be useful. Thanks for your time.

If I understand correctly you want to know the list of available Emulators in Azure,
Are you looking specifically at Cosmos DB? can you please share more information on your use case?
If you are looking for additional emulators apart from the above 3 then you can refer to Local storage emulator

Hi, I need to know the full list of available Emulators in Azure. Not specifically any service, like Cosmos DB, or SQL, but overall for all services in Azure, where emulators are available.

My case is that I work in pretty big company, which has most of resources on Azure. We use a lot of available Azure services, but sometimes for a development purpose, some teams are creating for example new storage account, and business have to pay for it, when azurite would be totally enough, and most important free solution.
I
want to share with developers and business what options we have in terms of reducing costs, by moving from hosted resources, to local emulators. Of course, at the end of the day, it should behave in similar way as deployed one, because this is how it's going to end up.

I hope my intentions and what I want to know is clear now.

I agree with the previous commenter. This information is hugely important for both productivity and cost reduction.

Not only that, but as part of planning and designing a solution, an architect needs to know how to test the service locally and in CI/CD environments. This is part of any responsible solution evaluation process IMO when comparing cloud offerings.

I know that AWS and GCP are way ahead of Azure in this respect, so if this doesn't receive any priority in Azure's roadmap it only makes sense to write this down as a major disadvantage compared to other cloud providers.
