Hello,

I have a DHCP server in my environment. I had a scope of 192.168.0.0. I wanted to change my IP pool. So, I backup my old pool and then removed it. After that, I created a new pool with 192.168.6.0 IP. All configurations are the same as like my previous pool's configuration. But the fact is that, no client machines can get new IP address from my new pool. I ran manually ipconfig /flushdns, ipconfig /release, ipconfig /renew. My client machine can ping my new pool's gateway and also when I put the IP of 192.168.6.0 subnet as static, It works fine but when I selected DHCP, It was not working. I have also restarted my DHCP server and also restarted DHCP client from client machine but the result still remains same. So, now what can I do? Please suggest me. Thanks in advance.

Make sure to restart the DHCP service on the server and that the pool is Enabled. If it dont work check to see if the service listen to the correct NIC.

A note; A good move by the way to move from 192.168.0.0, it's hard to make VPN from other site or home user, as it's a common network in linksys or dlink router used at home.
