Hello....

I have a basic MS Office 365 Account.

I am testing logins from Windows 10/11 Pro laptops using teh user's email and password form MS office account.

I joined a test laptop to my AAD domain.

I can log in just fine to the laptop using my MS Office account credentials.

When I run Edge and go to outlook.com it logs me automatically, fantastic.

But when i click on one drive it is not logged in automatically and I have to sign in.

Is there a way to have One Drive log in automagically when a user logs into a laptop for the first time and every time after that using the basic MS office account/Tenant?

Thanks and have a great day!

    Hello @Rob

    Thank you for reaching out. As per your explanation I assume that SSO for OneDrive Sync Client still does not work, and user still has to login to OneDrive Client one time in before SSO actually kicks and works for subsequent connections of user logging on.

    If that is the case, you can try to detail mentioned on the following document: Silently sign in users to the OneDrive sync app with their Windows credentials

    I hope this helps.

    @Rob

    Please check the Prerequisites.
    If you do not have on-premise AD, you need to join your devices to Azure AD.
    Then use Intune and a Microsoft PowerShell script to set the registry keys required to enable silent account configuration, and follow other steps in this article.
