Intune: manually install paid apps

Hi,

we have Samsung Galaxy A8 tablets running Android 12.
We have successfully pushed several needed Google Play apps via Intune.

All those devices are using corporate-owned work profile.

From my understanding paid apps are not supported in Intune. However, can we manually install paid apps on each device?

    @HAPC , Thanks for posting in Q&A. Yes, your understanding is correct. Based on Google article, the Managed Google Play no longer supports the ability to purchase app licenses. Here is a link with more details:

    Note: Non-Microsoft link, just for the reference.

    One way I can think is you can contact app developer to get the apk to install. After researching, I didn't find any more information about the paid app install. I think you can contact google support to get more help.

    Assuming I obtain the app APK, does Intune allow us to manually install specific APK?

    Please, advice.
