Sharepoint Online Permissions on Documents

Hello,

I have created a Document Library on SharePoint Online and I want to give separately permissions to over 5600 Documents.

Also creating a new folder and moving Documents there to apply unique permissions does not help us because we want the Documents to be all together in a Document Library.

Is there a way to choose multiple documents and apply permisisons?

Thanks for the post.

According to the research, currently there is not possible to manage multiple documents with different permissions in your scenario.

Usually, when we manage a large number of items in single library, we create folders or document sets to make it easier to manage their permissions.

Currently there is no OOTB in SharePoint online to meet your requirement, you could send feedback to Microsoft SharePoint Feedback.

Thanks for your reply, but I'm still looking for a way to apply permissions the way I told.

Is it possible with powershell?

This article is about set permission to document using PowerShell. And you need to traverse all files to the PowerShell command that sets permissions on a single file.
