Setup Alwayson with one node onprem and one azure vm node

Is it possible to Setup Alwayson with one node on-prem and one azure VM node. This is going to be a new setup. I have read all about extending "existing" Availabiity groups etc, But have not found setting up new one node on-prem plus one node Azure VM availability group.
