E1 license more than 50 GB

Question

If someone can help me please let me know the answers for below.

1. One of my O365 user license is E1 and user 50GB is almost to finish now. As he dont have outlook client. What is the option.
   a. Can we increase the storage size in E1 license?
   b. Do we have online archive option in E1 license?
   c. If we have online archive option. how do we see those emails in outlook web.
   d. How do we archive archive from outlook web.
   e. Is online archive is free?

You can create an Online archive for this user with an E1. You can not increase the Quota of the primary mailbox beyond 50GB. That requires an E2 at minimum to have 100GB primary quota

Hi,

As Andy stated, you can enable the Exchange Online Archive for the user with E1 license.

a. Can we increase the storage size in E1 license? No, size cannot be increased and its based on the license
b. Do we have online archive option in E1 license? Yes, exchange online archiving is included in E1
c. If we have online archive option. how do we see those emails in outlook web. Yes, it will display as "In-place archive"
d. How do we archive archive from outlook web. Move the items to the archive folder
e. Is online archive is free? Its included in E1 license
