is the limit 5 of diagnostic settings in activity logs a hard limit?

Question

currently the diagnostic settings for the activity logs in event hub has a limit of 5.
i was wondering if this was a hard limit or if there was a way to increase this.

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A platform.

It’s a hard limit, it cannot be increased.

Currently, you can send the Activity log from any single subscription to up to five workspaces.

A single diagnostic setting can define no more than one of each of the destinations. If you want to send data to more than one of a particular destination type (for example, two different Log Analytics workspaces), then create multiple settings. Each resource can have up to 5 diagnostic settings.
