Hi, we have need to move our DHCP role from a 2019 server to an older 2016 server. How can I bring over all settings, scopes, options and leases to the new DHCP server. I don't think backup and restore will work because the version of operating systems are newer. Is this possible? I would appreciate any help.

Thanks

Thanks for the reply, so that will work even with different versions of DHCP because of the different operating systems?

Shouldn't be a problem. The XML will be universally acceptable.
