What Happens to direct Routing cmdlets after retirements of Skype for Business PowerShell Module on Feb 15

Hi,

We all have hear that Skype for Business Online Connector will retire on Feb 15. That's less than 2 month and it is being replaced with Microsoft Teams PowerShell module. But in Microsoft Teams module you can not find and cmdlet or commands related to direct routing or derived trunk configuration of any thing for managing PSTNgateway, PSTN usage or voice routes,

Does any one knows what will happen? I can't believe Microsoft is retiring something without having the replacement in place well ahead of the time. Is there any thing I'm missing?

Thanks
Ali

    Hey @JimmyYang-MSFT ,

Thanks again and please ignore previous respond,

    Found the answer.

What I was missing was the New-CsOnlineSession cmdlet which I just saw in the screen shot after pasting it.

Thanks again for your responds and wish you a very happy new year.

    Regards

    Ali

    Hi @Ali

Based on my knowledge, Skype for Business Online Connector is currently part of the latest Teams PowerShell module. If you’re using the latest Teams PowerShell, you don’t need to install the Skype for Business Online Connector. So don't worry about it. For more details, you can refer to:

    Hi @JimmyYang-MSFT

Unfortunately this is not the case. I have heard and read that too, but this is not how it is in reality.
You can easily try by installing a brand new fresh windows computer and install the latest version of Microsoft Teams PowerShell Module (Version 1.1.10-Preview) then look at the commands available.
there are limited commands for managing teams and channels but nothing for Voice part of it yet.
Then install the Skype Online for Business connector and try again.

    Thanks
    Ali
