Hello

I have few questions on using WVD with azure File storage for FSlogix profile. I have a windows Domain controller in azure and I have deployed WVD hostpool with 5 VMs in it for users. Now for user profiles I want to use azure file storage.
For it I need to create a storage account and create a File share.
Now do I need to create another VM for this File share to mount?
I am just thinking from the cost perspective that I need to pay for the compute cost of this VM on which the file share will be mounted for using FSlogix profile?

    @Punditji

    As Azure Files is a managed service, it can be accessed via SMB protocol directly like a NAS. So you don't need a VM to mount the file share in your case.

    Thanks.

    The ability to use native AD permissions for Azure Files is available in preview.
