I'm exploring options to image devices offsite using our 3rd party supplier.
Currently have a standalone primary site
What options are available to allow devices to be imaged offsite - ie extend the environment installing a new primary\secondary site\DP at supplier site? etc ...

The actual production environment is more complicated and it may have issue during the process. Generally speaking, based on my understanding, the easier way is to put a PXE-enabled DP in this third-party suppliers site if the third-party suppliers could connect with the primary site by VPN. If we set the DHCP server and PXE-enabled DP in the same subnet of the suppliers site, the PXE process could be smooth.
The other way is that we could use stand-alone media to image devices in the third-party suppliers site.

Yes, your understanding is correct.
The DHCP server need to be set the same subnet with the SCCM clients (suppliers site). When a client initiates a PXE boot, the DHCP server will provide available IP address and boot file information.

1.When you configure a single PXE-enabled distribution point to support multiple subnets(different subnet), it's not supported to use DHCP options. To allow the network to forward client PXE requests to PXE-enabled distribution points, configure IP helpers on the routers.

2.When you configure a single PXE-enabled distribution point to support same subnet, the DHCP server need to be set the same subnet with the SCCM clients (suppliers site).
