Might try;
sfc /scannow
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

My laptop shows a lock icon in the taskbar which disappear when I click on it. My taskbar can’t also perform any tasks. When I click on folders at my desktop, it says “an attempt was made to reference a token that doesn’t exist”. I can play videos on my desktop. My background also disappeared. When I go to the task manager, only some processes like antivirus applications show up. My internet options also don’t show up.
Might try;
sfc /scannow
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
Thank you for the advice. I tried it but for the first command, it said that some corrupt files could not be fixed. For the second command, it said that source files could not be found, adding that I could use the source option to specify the location of the files.
You can try a "reset windows"
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4000735/windows-10-reinstall
I can’t access my files or try to back them up. Is there a possibility that they will all be erased?
If you do the "reset" no user files should be lost, but backing up is the safer thing to do.
