Azure AD B2C translations in user flows encoded (escaped) and so not displayed correctly to user

Using Norwegian translation I see that the characters æ, ø and å are escaped (encoded).

For example å is encoded as: å

The user sees the encoded string in the login and not the correct character, such as this:

<div id="emailVerificationControl_success_message" aria-hidden="false" role="alert" aria-label="E-postadressen er bekreftet. Du kan nå fortsette." style="display: inline;">E-postadressen er bekreftet. Du kan nå fortsette.</div>

In the translation files it is not encoded. To make this even more of a problem I can't override the above string with my own custom translation to work around it. I have tried but to no avail.

Do translations need to be encoded? It would be better if they were not, then we could also include links in the text to such things as terms and privacy compliance documents.

Hi @Claus · Thank you for reaching out.

This is a known issue with the page layout versions (2.1.0 and 2.1.1) and is already reported to the product team. Please try using page layout version 2.1.2.

If you still face this issue, as a workaround you can use page layout version 1.2.0 or lower version.

If you are using User Flow, you can use Standard User flow which supports layout version 1.2.0 and lower versions.

If you are using Custom policy, you need to update Data URI parameter under <ContentDefinition Id="api.signuporsignin"> to use version 1.2.0 as shown below:

    <DataUri>urn:com:microsoft:aad:b2c:elements:contract:unifiedssp:1.2.0</DataUri>

    Hi all

We are using User Flow with the default page layout template "Ocean Blue". Even with the newest page layout version 2.1.4 (as of writing this post) the french translation of words like "Numéro de téléphone" does not work correctly when they appear in a link <a> tag.
