Bing earch results give errenous result numbers

Question

Hi, Bing Search result shows a larger number, but when I go to next pages, it show much less number of results, almost ha.f For example: search results show 1870. But on 17th page, it shows only 218 results. @Nitin Kumar This looks like an issue with the bing search page which needs to be reported on the bing.com page using the feedback option.

This forum is primarily for the search API service from Azure which is the backend for any bing search operation but in this case the UI from bing.com seems to be display an inaccurate number which needs to be reported directly from the bing.com feedback option. Hope this helps!!

We are using the Azure API in our interface. It is the same problem in bing web search and azure bing search api. See the screenshots from our application where we are using azure bing search api. It shows absurd For a search, the number sent by Bing search API is very large, but when we do to next pages, results number just disappears and return to very small number.
We are trying to get all comprehensive web search for any specific topic from a particular domain. For that we are using Azure Bing Search in our application.
