Office for Mac - KMS activation

Hi,

I provide IT support to a school that has a Select Plus Agreement for Office 2016. I was under the impression that this also covers Office for Mac 2016 too but am unable to get it to activate, I have installed the serializer and uninstalled and reinstalled both the Office suite and the serializer but still get the not activated alert and am unable to edit documents.

Anyone have any knowledge on whether its is covered or not? Or if there is something else that needs doing? I've done all the steps on the MS VLSC site.
