Hello,

I have two machines: machine A is the SSMS client while machine B is SQL Server 2012 where Integration Services
is running. When I tried to connect to SSIS from the SSMS client, I get this error

72724-ssis-error-1.jpg

Here are some version details ...

  1. Microsoft SQL Server 2012 (SP4-GDR) (KB4057116) - 11.0.7462.6 (X64)
  2. SQL Server Configuration Manager -> Integration Services 11.0
  3. Running "dtexec" on machine B says: Version 11.0.7462.6 for 64-bit
  4. Machine B SSMS is - 11.0.7462.6
  5. Machine A SSMS is - 11.0.7507.2

The only way I connect to Integration Services is to logon Machine B and use the SSMS on the machine.
Port 135 and "MsDtsSrvr.exe" are allowed. My client SSMS is 11.0 and so as my SQL Server 2012 and yet I can't
connect.

Can someone tell me what my problem is and explain how to fix this issue?

I really appreciate it!

    @sidney l ,

    I hope you are using SSIS SSISDB Catalog.
    Starting from the SSIS 2012 onwards there is no need in SSIS service.

    Hi @sidney l ,

    Please check if you install Integration Services in Machine A and Machine B.
