Importing Mail rules into an O365 mailbox (shared mailbox)

Hey guys,

I'm trying to import a decent amount of mail rules into a users Outlook (which I didn't like doing, because each user would have to manage these rules individually), but I'm getting the same error importing to a regular inbox as I am a shared mailbox (The way I'm going to attempt to get this to work).

When I try to manually create a mailrule I also get the same error:
"Some of your rules do not have all their options set. If you save your rules, these rules with missing options will be deactivated. Do you want to save your rules" - "Yes"

"One or more rules cannot be uploaded to Microsoft Exchange and have been deactivated. This could be because some of the parameters are not supported, or there is insufficient space to store all of your rules." - "Ok"

....and then the mailrule is unchecked or deactivated.

Literally just trying to do this with one rule based on a "from" address to move it to a "specific" folder. that's all, and I get these two pop-ups every time.

Any one have any idea why this is?

    Hi @JoFri ,

Are you using Outlook desktop client? If yes, what's the version of your Outlook? (File > Office Account > About Outlook). Please make sure you have upgraded your Outlook to the latest version.
And does this issue only happen to your specific Outlook desktop client? Do other user in your organizations have the same issue?

I tried some research and found some possible factors, please try the suggestions mentioned in this article Some rules are disabled, and you receive an error message when you try to create or enable rules in Outlook and see if your issue has any difference.

Any update, please feel free to post back.
