Initial domain transfer In to Azure failed due to lock. Now unable to retry

I'm using a POST request on the azure REST API to transfer my domains in to Azure. 1 domain succeeded and transferred correctly - however another had a lock on it due to a recent contact change. This lock has now been removed, however whenever i attempt to transfer in again i get an unknown error returning from the API (response 500 and a standard Runtime error html page).

This URL - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/appservice/domains/createorupdate

The domain no longer appears on my App Service Domain list, however if i go to the Advanced Management Portal (via the other domain i transferred) and look at "Transfers In"; it display my domain as rejected ("The sending registrar rejected the transfer. Resolve the problem with them before transferring again.")

Is it just a case of waiting some days and trying again?

I've also tried this using powershell commands (New-AzureRmResource), and just receive an error back of "Parameter domain is null or empty" - however there is no documentation to ask for this parameter, the domain is passed in the parameter of -ResourceName.

Any help would be appreciated.

@Suprcode Apologize for the inconvenience with this issue! I have internally checked, the product team is aware this issue and at this time “Transfer in” is not officially supported. Recommend you keep the domain where it is and just use Azure DNS if needed.

Thanks for asking question! If you are getting error “Transfer Rejected” it means your current registrar rejected your domain name transfer and you need to contact your current registrar to resolve this issue and then repurchase the transfer in your account with us.

The issue has already been resolved with my current registrar. However my problem is when i attempt to transfer in again it is now giving me an error.

The link you provided does show full information on how to transfer in my domain. However i'm presented with a new issue in that i have never been given a customer number or password to be able to sign in to this system.

When i request my username - one does get emailed to me. However why i attempt to reset my password i just get an error - so i'm unable to login to this system.

This page also seems different to the one i'm directed to from the Azure Portal.

Azure portal directs me to https://dcc.secureserver.net/ (which has very limited functionality)

However that guide links me to https://sso.secureserver.net/

This system is so unfriendly its unreal. Can you offer any direction on how i can login to this system? Perhaps a UK phone number I can call for direction?

@SnehaAgrawal-MSFT I've now managed to access my account on Secureserver.net - i did this by going to the dcc subdomain and finding my customer number (which was a different one to the one i was emailed when i requested it via the same email). After a password reset i was able to login.

However, all the links it offers are broken. For example the following guide

    https://www.secureserver.net/help/article/1592?prog_id=510456

Step one says go to this link to search for my domain and start a transfer - https://www.secureserver.net/products/domain-transfer?prog_id=510456

It just returns a "Not found" message.

It really seems as though this portal is no longer in use, as even the contact link is broken.

Are there any other methods available to transfer domains in to Azure? Or a UK telephone number that could possibly assist with getting this resolved.
