    @Franz Schenk

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

    I have tried to deploy the pptp profile for win10 client via sccm, it could be seen on my client side, so maybe this sccm article have not been update yet.

    There are many flexible methods could be used to deploy vpn profiles, such as sccm or intune.

    Have a nice day!

    Thank you for your reply.

    We were also able to deploy a VPN Profile to a Windows 10 Client. But we were not able to add some required properties to the connection. We have to deploy VPN Profiles for connections to a Microsoft Always On VPN Server. Always On VPN Supports IKEv2 and SSTP connections.

    The Always On VPN documentation describes only very complicates procedures with custom XML files and Powershell Scripts for deploying VPN connections to clients. So, because we have SCCM, we prefer SCCM because this method is much easier, and it is also much easier to change existing VPN connection properties, if required.

    So, we still don't know if we can use SCCM or not for deploying VPN connections (SSTP and IKEv2) to Windows 10 clients, that will connect to Microsoft Always On VPN server.
