Since I do have Surface RT it shows the Diskpart Disk 0 but not the volume which means I can not load Windows into it. Only Disk 1 is seen which is my 64 GB flash drive which has Recovery on it. Any solution on how to bring back Disk 0 showing volume. I have 3 Surface RT two of them show Disk 0 volume which is 119 GB. Thank you, Richard Cornell Richardcornell1@Juno.com

    Hi,
    Important: please don’t leave any personal contact information here, there is a public community where anyone can see the post content, your personal information may lead to security risk or unexpected trouble.
    You'd better ask for help from surface after sale support, hardware recognition issue is more like hardware issue rather than Windows issue.

    The Surface RT's are just part of the numbers that I have to update. I volunteer at the Willow Creek Computer Connection in South Barrington, IL. These Surfaces were all donated to be refurbished and a new license Window 10 put on them. This one when I tried to put Windows 10 on it showed that it did not see anything but my flash drive, "C" was missing.
    In Diskpart I notice that Disk 0 volume was blank instead of showing 119 GB.
    Using recovery from MS I was able to get into Command and into Diskpart and list disk.
    Using third party software I'm able to see that SSD, but can not figure how to get the Surface to see that 119 GB drive.
    Is there any way I can get the Surface to recognize that SSD.
    What commands do I need to put into Diskpart for that to happen.
    If that is impossible, then the Surface will be scrape and that SSD remove and the rest toss out safely.

    Thank you;

    These are not for resale. They are given to Chicago schools by the way of the Chicago Police. In neighborhoods that have heavy gang traffic. Where just by walking on the wrong side could you killed.
    That way these children need not carry a electronic device.
    My e-mail is so that I can get a answer.
    I do get junk mail even before I ask for help from the Microsoft Community.
