can importing overide MP from SCOM 2012 to SCOM 2019 break anything?

there are some MPs that I am not really sure what they are and their dependencies?,... worried that I will not be able to delete the imported overrides because of the dependencies and create a mess?

You can view MP dependencise by viewing Dependencies tab on MP properties in Operations console.

It is a risky operation for importing MP or override MP into your infrastructure before knowing how it work.

    Hi,

As explained in another thread, if we try to import an MP w/o the referenced MP, it fails. That is to say, the ID is unique in the environment. If we find that some MPs is not suitable for the new environment, we can use the following similar commands to remove them, by filtering the version($.version), imported date($.TimeCreated), etc.

    https://learn.microsoft.com/answers/questions/324453/how-do-i-know-a-imported-override-mp-is-working.html

    *Get-scommanagementpack | where {$_.version -like '7.6.1076'} | remove-scommanagementpack*

    Regards,

    Alex
