Platform RDS session Host Server 2016
Office 365 for Enterprise

Hello
We have a remote desktop session host with Office 365 Apps for enterprise installed. Outlook is creating log files for all users, even though the option is turned off in Outlook . We believe this may have been activated when the the Support and Recovery Assistant was used in the past to troubleshoot a problem. Registry entries suggested to turn this feature off at a user level (HKEY_CURRENT_USER) are not working. Registry entries relating to the Support and Recovery Assistant at (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE) are not present as the application was removed from the system.

Group policies are set to: Enable mail logging - Disabled

The logfile sizes are causing space issues on the UDPS and we need to fix the issue.

Suggestions anyone?

Regards MISS

    Hi,
Thank you for posting your query. According to your description, you have actually tried the regular ways to figure this out. Here are some suggestions. Maybe you can try to reinstall the Microsoft 365 with the latest Outlook. And when reinstalled, set the outlook not to create log files for the first time and restart it. On the other hand, if you don't need the Support and Recovery Assistant, maybe you can uninstall it or reinstall it again. Would the same issue happen?
