Hello All, I am trying to update the security update CVE-2020-1472 in my windows server 2019(DC) KB4565349 not getting update showing error "The update is not applicable to your computer" Kindly advise me whether im running the correct KB? if not kindly share me a correct KB for the CVE-2020-1472 security update for the netlogon vulenerability. PS: this is my domain controller not able to take much risk Regards, Loganathan. R

    You may get "update is not applicable" for a couple of reasons. Either the prerequisite SSU has not been installed

    or a newer cumulative update has been installed. You can check the results of
    (Get-HotFix | Sort-Object -Property InstalledOn)

    KB4565349 has been replaced by KB5001638.

    You can download the latest update to see if it solves the problem:

    If you are using Windows Update, the latest SSU (KB5000859) will be offered to you automatically. To get the standalone package for the latest SSU, search for it in the Microsoft Update Catalog.

    Windows updates are now cumulative, Monthly Rollups contains all new security fixes for the month plus all security and non-security fixes from all previous Monthly Rollups

    If you wanted to bring it current (OS Build 17763.1823) then you could install the latest SSU
