"An error occurred while running detection."

Hi,

Installing SP1 on SP 2013 results in this error:

"An error occurred while running detection."

Used farm account on app and web server with right click run as...any tips or ideas? Logs don't really say much.

    Hi @stevehowlett,

    Please run SharePoint Products Configuration Wizard to repair it, then re-install SP1 to compare the result.

    Hi,

    There is nothing obvious in the logs...

    There are many owstimer.exe entries in the logs at time of issue - here are some:

    Does Microsoft not have any detailed diagnostic tools to actually find out what is wrong here?
