-->PC Specifications: Intel Core I7-8700K CPU @ 3.70GHz 64 GB RAM/64-bit OS Windows 10 Pro Version 1909 Installed: 8/3/2019 OS Build: 18353.1316 --> Windows 10 Update Issue: Windows update has not been able to update the system. Note just under ‘Windows Update’ at the top of screen it says: “Some settings are managed by your organization” The above message is very perplexing since this is my own PC not connected to any organization (no Domain), I only have a local network (192.168.0.0). Yes this is a valid and paid for version of Windows 10 Pro. The same issue has continued to happen for many months now. Note I have a second and third PC that are also Windows 10 Pro and they have no issues with Windows Update. Every forum and article I have read has had suggestions to try to fix it and so far, none have worked. Everything (apps, internet, etc.) works fine on this computer but I’m afraid if it is not able to update soon, I will be exposed to possible vulnerabilities. I have run ‘chkdsk’, ‘sfc /scannow’, and ‘dism’ (with various options) commands and all check out as OK/no issues or problems found. Does anyone have some sort of fix/reconfiguration to solve this windows update issue? My last alternative is to reformat the drive and install a fresh copy of Windows, not something I really have the inclination to perform. Here are a couple of messages I pulled from the eventlog all three are from "Microsoft-Windows-WindowsUpdateClient" 2 separate but similar errors in the log: Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x80070057: Feature update to Windows 10, version 21H1. Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x80246007: Feature update to Windows 10, version 21H1. Just repeated the windows update and see this on the screen: Feature update to Windows 10, version 21H1 Status: Install error - 0x80070057 And this just repeats when I try the windows update again. Please help! Ken kjsys1@Stuff .com

Please go to this Microsoft website and click Download tool now button, download Media Creation tool.
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
This tool can assist you update system to the latest version 20H2, since you have update issue for many months, general check for updates will cost many time, use this tool can be faster. Why I don’t suggest to upgrade to 21H1, because this version of Windows 10 still belongs to Insider Previews version, it is aimed at Insiders for test and check potential issue, it is not a version for daily work and life.
On the other hand, you mentioned that there is a sentence: “Some settings are managed by your organization” appears in Settings but this is a personal device. This situation can be fixed by reset this PC. Once you upgrade to 20H2 version, check if you will still see this message, if it exists, reset this PC from Recovery.
