Connectivity between Azure data factory and Azure data catalog

Question

Hi Team,

We have a use case to use the azure data catalog Metadata information in Azure data factory. We have gone through the documentation however could not find any information on this.

Could you help me if the feature is already available in existing product or is there any alternate way to read metadata stored for catalog and use it in Azure data factory.

I don't see Azure data catalog being supported in ADF in the document here - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/data-factory/copy-activity-overview#supported-data-stores-and-formats

Unfortunately, you cannot use the azure data catalog Metadata information in Azure data factory.

I would suggest you to vote up an idea submitted by another Azure customer.
