I am getting repeated crashes caused by GdiPlus.dll- when running a loop which saves the camera image as the 28 different png files. Do you think this error can be related to how the macro is grabbing the image from the camera image and saving it? Here is the full error message

Based on your description, your issue seems to be more related to GdiPlus.dll in Windows 7. As tag "office-excel-itpro" focuses on general issues about Excel clients, I will remove it. Thanks for your understanding.

I find an article "How To Fix GDIPlus.dll Errors on Windows", you may refer to.

    Hi Dave,
For Windows 7, the support has been ended. I suggest that we'd better upgrade to Windows 10.
Then for GdiPlus.dll, it is related to GDI. GDI+ is part of Windows so as long as your Windows Version is supported, the GDI+ implementation in it is supported.

There are only 2 versions of GDI. Please research the word "Download .NET Framework 1.1 GDIPLUS.DLL " to download the update to check.
Meanwhile, I suggest that you could check for update to install the latest security updates to check.
If the issue still insists, two steps you could try:

    1. update or reinstall you office application.
    2. Copy GDIplus.dll then replace it to your crashing machine from a working Windows 7 computer
Hope this helps and please help to accept as Answer if the response is useful.
      Best Regards,
      Carl
