Hello,

I have a few win10 machine. The users are logged in with their microsoft (azure) login.
I'd like to use a shared folder on server2016.
This is not possible. I don't know why.
Should it be possible to setup a networkdrive from Win10 to Server2016 without having to add the server to the Azure domain?

This is because it is not a supported scenario.
Network Sharing will work with local account and local AD and NOT the Azure one.
As a workaround you may try Hybrid scenario to sync Azure AD with local AD and then use Local AD to setup local Network Sharing, take a look at:
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/hybrid/whatis-hybrid-identity
For Azure AD, it is recommended to share data using SharePoint or OneDrive .
