Our WSUS server is reporting sync failures with Microsoft. It started yesterday 4/7/2021.
Error: The upstream server experienced an unexpected error. Please try again at a later time.
We have not made any changes on our end.
Is there an issue with Microsoft's side?
MS indicates an issue related to the Developer Tools, Runtimes, and Redistributables product group.
Temporarily deselected that group and the sync completed.

Same issue here this morning and a temporary deselect of the "Developer Tools, Runtimes, and Redistributables" product group allowed sync to complete. Has MS published any time to resolution?
MS said it is now working. I enabled the "Developer Tools, Runtimes, and Redistributables" again and sync was successful.

The issue was a problem with the "Developer Tools, Runtimes, and Redistributables" products group on Microsoft's end. I was informed they had fixed the problem and syncing should once again work for this group.
