Hello,

I recently moved to Pay-as-you-go account.
I have a storage account that I cannot delete it because it is not associate with any resource Group.
I have another question: is there any Resource Group or any other instance created by Azure as default, which will charge me and I will not able to delete them.

Your time and help would be appreciated!

What error message you get when you try to delete storage account?

Storage account costs very less if you just have few MB files.

Some resource group and resources get created automatically when you create some specific services.
E.g. when you create azure databricks, it creates a new RG which will have a virtual network, a security group and a storage account

    Hi @Payman

    First question.
I have a storage account that I cannot delete it because it is not associate with any resource Group.
Is the cost prorated?Yes. Storage capacity is billed in units of the average daily amount of data stored, in gigabytes (GB), over a monthly period.
    refer- https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/details/storage/
    Second question.
I have another question: is there any Resource Group or any other instance created by Azure as default, which will charge me and I will not able to delete them.
By default, azure never create any instance that will get charges to you and there is no charges for resource group.
