Hello,

I have a German Windows 10 Pro, 64-Bit, Version 20H2 (Build 19042.906).
In Windows 10 I also have a VM in Hyper-V with Windows 10 Pro, 64-Bit, Version 21H1 (Build 19043.906).
The VM is installed several months ago and working just great!

Next week I have a Zoom meeting and for security reasons I have Zoom just installed in my VM.
In my VM I can get my headset and microphone working, but not my USB webcam (Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920).

In Hyper-V I have the Enhanced Session Mode enabled like described here:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/virtualization/hyper-v/learn-more/use-local-resources-on-hyper-v-virtual-machine-with-vmconnect

But in the window "Local Ressorces" I don't see any of my USB devices:

Normally my USB devices should be listed there (also the Webcam).
But here only "Devices that are connected later on" are available.
I really don't understand, what I am doing wrong.

Thank you for your help!

OLLI

    Hi,

Based on your descriptions, I have found this blog in which the issue is the same with yours. And you can try:

    1. recheck if you did the correct way to run "vmconnect.exe localhost <vmname> /edit".

    2) try other ways in this blog in order

Thank you for your patience and understanding!

    Best regards

    Hello,

I activared the "Allow RDP redirection of other supported RemoteFX USB devices from this computer" setting and rebooted the host and the VM.
But USB devices are still not shown.

Might it be, that RDP is disabled on my PC?

    Best regards

    OLLI
