Hello,

This appears to be a new issue that I am experiencing. In Fall we bought 200 Dell 5410 laptops. We were able to image the devices through SCCM and they also appear in Intune as well.

Now, 9 months later, we are trying to deploy new devices (Dell OptiPlex 7780 AIO) devices. I am getting an error message, "Registering your device for mobile management Failed: 6, 0x8018000a). From what I have read it's an issue with SCCM and Intune.

@William For the error code,”0x8018000a)”, it means the device is already enrolled.

It seems a different user has already enrolled the device in Intune or joined the device to Azure AD. To determine whether this is the case, go to Settings > Accounts > Work Access. Look for a message that's similar to Another user on the system is already connected to a work or school. Please remove that work or school connection and try again.

Here are the steps to remove the other work or school account for the reference:

    1. Sign out of Windows, then sign in by using the other account that has enrolled or joined the device.
    2. Go to Settings > Accounts > Work Access, then remove the work or school account.
    3. Sign out of Windows, then sign in by using your account.
    4. Enroll the device in Intune or join the device to Azure AD.

    Hope it can help

I am still having issues with this error code. We use SCCM to image our devices. I image the device, all the drivers and network settings are applied to the laptop correctly. Once I get to the "Setting up your Device For Work" screen is when I get this message.

    Securing your hardware (Complete)
    Joining your organizations network (Complete)
Registering your device for mobile management (6, 0x8018000a) Failed

I see the device in Azure Active Directory, Intune, SCCM and as well as in our AD environment.
