  1. If I clic on [Pause] button Win10 crash and does not work until I unplug the external hard drive.
  2. All my files still in the hard drive, I can see them, but when I try to acces any file or folder win 10 crush on that window and changes that window name with: "Folder Name" (Not Answer).

I tried to turn off BitLocker on the hard disk in BitLocker Manager but BitLocker crush trying it.

Need your help to finish the operation and go to 100% or to cancel the BitLocker process

    Hi,

This problem occurs due to an encryption failure, since you are facing this issue , I'd suggest you perform the following in the order of appearance and check if the issue persists.
    Method 1:
    a. Open a command prompt on your computer (Click Start, type "cmd" in the search box)

    b. Type: manage-bde -status <drive letter> eg. manage-bde -status e:

This should let you verify the drive is unlocked and encrypted

    c. Now type "manage-bde -off <drive letter>" eg manage-bde -off f:

This tells Windows to turn off encryption on that drive and decrypt it.

Be patient, decryption time can take a very long time, 12hours per 1.5Tb

    Method 2:

Use the BitLocker Repair Tool to Recover a Drive

Hope above information can help you.

After write manage-bde -off d: there´s no more messages or working status, I have to wait and don´t close the command window right ?

Can I do these method without hiting on pause button? because when I hit on pause system crush.
