Reseting the Percept to initial state

Is there a way to reset the Percept to original state? I went through the OOBE 2 times and noticed that the original account still existed on the device. Also, is the root password for the device provided? I notice that a password (and a recommendation to change that password) exists in the Santa-Cruz documentation.

Thanks

Hi @Ray Crawford , thanks for using the Percept DK and sending us your questions.

Currently the only way to reset the device is to USB flash it. You can find those instructions at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-percept/how-to-update-via-usb

Regarding the "root" SSH user, we had that user enabled with some of the early private preview dev kits, but it has been disabled in later updates. The setup experience (OOBE) allows you to create an SSH user that you can use going forward. The Santa Cruz documentation is targeted to those early private preview dev kits, which is why it is mentioned there.

    Thanks!

Sorry for the slow reply.... I updated to the latest release via USB and it resolved my issues. I think I rebooted it a second time to make it work, but after doing so, the lights worked correctly and I was able to install the Hospitality demo.

    Closing. Thank you!
